Collision is an excavation into the shared worlds of our galaxy. The point of impact and intersection as two worlds collide, leaving its mark on our memories and the Earth’s surface. The fascination with outer space comes as Jude bore witness to an asteroid shooting across the night sky. The collection distills the idea of what it’s like when our worlds have collided into wearable pieces. Collision is a collection of 18K gold-plated brass, 925 sterling silver and custom-made resin stones in galactic shades: space blue, terrestrial green and Jupiter red. Layers undulate and striations create patterns of waves that mimic those in nature, while granulation crystallizes the surface of the pieces. Each dyed resin stone is encapsulated in its stone house with skill and precision.
